About Us.

The family farm was established in 2012 and has built its distinctive identity under the BOL IN brand. The farm includes a vineyard with approximately 7,500 vines of the indigenous Pošip variety, as well as olive groves with around 300 olive trees. Olive cultivation is based primarily on the traditional Dalmatian varieties Oblica, Lastovka and Levantinka, complemented by a smaller number of Coratina and Leccino trees. The farm also includes an orchard with around thirty fruit trees, mainly figs and sour cherries. Since 2017, the farm has been professionally engaged in agriculture and the production of homemade products based on traditional recipes, with a particular focus on quality, preserving local heritage and using its own raw materials. The farm is a member of the BOL Agricultural Cooperative and actively participates in the development and promotion of local agricultural production.

Pošip grapes from our own vineyard are supplied to Jako vino in Bol, a company known for producing premium wines under the Stina brand. Extra virgin olive oil produced from olives grown in our own groves is bottled in various sizes and marketed under our own OL BOL brand. Since 2021, the family farm has continuously expanded its range and has taken part in the organisation of the Bol Summer Evenings and local family farm evenings, where visitors can discover our products and local gastronomic traditions. In addition to extra virgin olive oil, we also produce a variety of other homemade products based on traditional recipes. The farm’s activities are also closely connected with tourism through the rental of holiday apartments. Guests have the opportunity to discover and taste products from our own production, allowing agriculture and tourism to complement each other naturally and together create an authentic experience of Bol and the island of Brač.

Olive Oil

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL – OL BOL

OL BOL Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a greenish-yellow colour and a pleasant, fresh aroma and flavour reminiscent of olives, almonds and apples. It has a medium level of spiciness, a mild bitterness, a slightly sweet character and a smooth texture. These characteristics are achieved by combining several different olive varieties. The oil is obtained directly from fresh olives using exclusively mechanical processes, helping to preserve all of its natural qualities. Our olive grove is located approximately 300 metres northeast of the Dominican Monastery in Bol. It is primarily planted with the indigenous Oblica and Lastovka varieties, together with several other olive varieties. We produce our olive oil in limited quantities.

Everything the islands have to offer, all their aromas and flavours, is embodied in these delicacies. PANDOLETI Traditional dry cookies with almonds and a hint of maraschino. CANDIED ALMONDS Almonds coated in caramelised sugar. BOBIĆI Traditional Dalmatian round cookies made with almonds, sugar and eggs. ARANCINI A traditional delicacy made from candied orange peel. BOL HONEY COOKIES Traditional dry cookies made with honey and a variety of spices. OIL MACERATES

ST. JOHN’S WORT OIL St. John’s Wort oil is a natural product obtained by macerating St. John’s Wort flowers in cold-pressed OL BOL extra virgin olive oil. St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is one of the most widespread medicinal plants. It has long been highly valued in traditional use and is known for its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. WALNUT & CARROT OIL MACERATE A macerate of green walnuts and carrots in cold-pressed OL BOL extra virgin olive oil. Traditionally used for hair care and to help reduce hair loss, as well as to support faster natural tanning and help maintain a sun-kissed complexion. HELICHRYSUM OIL MACERATE Helichrysum – a remarkable plant associated with timeless beauty. Our helichrysum macerate is made by infusing the plant in OL BOL extra virgin olive oil. It is used for the care of mature and dry skin, as well as skin prone to irritation. It is traditionally used to support skin regeneration and to care for wrinkles and other signs of ageing. SAGE OIL MACERATE Sage – the queen of medicinal herbs. Traditionally used for the care of skin and nails affected by fungal infections, as a massage oil, to support general well-being, and as an aid in the care of gums and mouth ulcers.
